Worldbuilding and tabletop companion · In development

Build the world between sessions.
Run it at the table.

Wiki depth, local-first speed, and a knowledge engine underneath.

Eclorean Ledger keeps your maps, lore and timeline in one record. Write an event once and every page it touches changes on the right dates. Move the date and see the world as it stood then.

Maps that write back

Paint the map. The entries follow.

Upload your map image, then draw where things are and how far they reach. Every shape is tied to an entry, so the map and your notes never drift apart.

  • Layers for everything. Terrain, geography, political borders, influence and controlling factions stack on one map.
  • Extents and influence. Mark where an entry is and where its reach extends, as separate shapes.
  • A timeline on the map. Scrub the date and borders redraw to match that moment.

Documents with a history

One entry, every era.

Write in a full editor, with entries side by side. Names link to their entries, and facts carry the dates they held true, so you never copy a page to show how a place changed.

Two entries open side by side: Marka, a province, with linked place names in its overview and its governance panel; and The Unified Council, an alliance, with seven member provinces, their loyalty, the dates they joined, and their representatives.

Marka and The Unified Council, open side by side in Vals'kar.

Linked as you write

Highburg, the Seneng River and every other name you mention links straight to its entry.

Facts with dates

The Unified Council records when each province joined and when it leaves. Rows are history, not overwrites.

Change

The world moved on. A war starts, a capital falls. Earlier dates still show the old state.

Correct

You got it wrong the first time. The fix applies everywhere, and the old version stays on record.

Impacts

Write the event once. Every page keeps up.

An event lists everything it changes, across as many entries as it touches. While it's under way, those pages carry its badge. When it ends, its temporary effects lift on their own, and edits made in between survive.

See the shape of your world.

Once a world grows past a few hundred entries, it's hard to hold in your head. These views show what connects to what, where the gaps are, and which entries nothing else mentions.

Two jobs, one tool

A worldbuilder designs the causes. A GM runs them live.

Most tools are built for one of those jobs. Eclorean Ledger is built for the person who does both.

Between sessions

Build and prepare

  • Draw the world on your own map, with borders and influence tied to entries.
  • Write the history once, with every era in the same entry.
  • Set up events and their Impacts before the players get there.
  • Shape the schema with your own entry types, properties and calendars. Every built-in one is editable.
At the table

Run and resolve

  • Pull up any entry as it stands on the current date, with nothing to reconcile.
  • Resolve an event and let its Impacts update the world for you.
  • Advance the date and watch temporary effects lift on their own.
  • Check the badges to see everything currently affecting a place or person.
